Tommy Hilfiger aims to connect with consumers with its new fall-winter 2020 global campaign entitled “Moving Forward Together.” A diverse cast reflects the American spirit and further reinforces Tommy Hilfiger’s theme for the season. More than an advertisement, the outing coincides with various initiatives to encourage, unite, and inspire. For example, fans of Tommy Hilfiger can take part in digital co-creation projects and in-store repair services.

Thinking about the environment, Tommy Hilfiger encourages reusable garments with “Together We Create.” People are inspired to create new garments from leftover fabrics and reimagine past pieces from previous collections. Another initiative, Tommy Hilfiger, lends its support to tailors, artists, and more under the name “Together with Local Heroes.” Also known as Tommy’s Repair Shop, the project offers free repair services at select brand stores. The opportunity allows customers to extend the life of their favorite clothing while employing local tailors and artists affected by the global pandemic.

Tommy Hilfiger discusses the outing: “When faced with unusual social and economic situations, sticking together is the best way forward.” The designer continues, “Each challenge also implies an opportunity: it can take one step closer to achieving a dream, stimulate self-questioning or inspire creativity that you never knew you had. Through ‘Moving Forward Together,’ we want to help rekindle that creative spark and be able to help where it’s needed most.”

For fall, Tommy Hilfiger commits to American craftsmanship with timeless essentials. The American landscape inspires the label’s latest collection with clothes that take a storied journey through the midwestern states, traveling from Colorado to Montana. Tommy Hilfiger’s sartorial take on the country is filtered through the brand’s iconic and preppy east coast ivy league style.

Folk crafts are celebrated with the use of double-piece stitching and braiding. Meanwhile, authentic clothing takes the form of pieces like an archival-inspired crest sweater or rope dyed Sorona padded jacket. Tommy Hilfiger rounds out its fall collection with the Ranch Renegades: fashions that boast a mix of tweed, wool, and stripes.
