New Twitter Influencer Cosplay Artist Tang Tang

Meet Tang Tang – Cosplay Artist and Queer Twitter Influencer

What is Cosplaying?

Tang Tang is not the first cosplayer I noticed, but he is certainly one that gets my attention. Probably because he is so beautiful, I guess most of you will agree. He made me try to learn more about the art of cosplay. That alone would make him an influencer

Cosplay generally stands for costume play and is a performance art where the participants, called ‘cosplayers’, generally wave fashion accessories and costumes to represent a specific character. Cosplayers even interact to create a subculture, and it is a term that can also be used to mean role-playing.

The art worlds of gender performance: cosplay, embodiment, and the collective accomplishment of gender

Cosplay, a portmanteau of “costume” and “play,” is a vital component of the global ACG (anime, comic/manga, game) fandom. In China, it first emerged with ACG conventions in the late 1990s and has been developing rapidly since the 2000s, with a strong internet presence

Who is Tang Tang?

I can be sure about two things regarding knowing Tang Tang. He is a costume maker and cosplayer. I am not sure if I prefer to think of him as a beautiful gay twink or as a girly gay boy. He also states that he is into working out. I hope he does not change the look and feel of his body too much. The way he looks right now is just fine, in my opinion. What do other fans and followers think about that?

Is Cosplay Homoerotic?

The answer depends on individual perceptions. In my mind, it is very homoerotic. That makes it very exciting. In any case, it proves that nudity is not necessarily more erotic than non-nudity. That applies to homoerotic photography as well. One is for sure: Tang Tang made me another fan of his art and of cosplay in general.
